Brand management for an oral care TikTok Shop, run on behalf of Ecom Optima — covering ads, affiliate strategy, content sourcing, and day-to-day shop performance.
OllieSmile is an oral care brand selling toothpaste and toothbrush products on TikTok Shop. I managed the account as Brand Manager on behalf of Ecom Optima, the agency running the shop. Unlike impulse-buy categories, oral care sits closer to personal health and routine — which changes how content, claims, and creators need to be handled.
Three things made this category harder than a typical TikTok Shop run:
These are the shop's own TikTok Seller Center numbers — not estimates. Same "Last 28 days" view, taken roughly two months apart.
Running OllieSmile reinforced that TikTok Shop strategy isn't one-size-fits-all. A health-adjacent, repeat-purchase category like oral care needs a more trust-led content and creator approach than something like jewelry or home goods. Getting that right is what took the shop from a slow start to the numbers above in about two months — and it's the same category-by-category thinking I bring into every shop I manage.
If you're running a TikTok Shop — especially in a category where trust matters — let's talk about how I'd approach it.
